Building community through food. Fresh, affordable food…from the farm to your table!

Farm to Plate Marketplace (F2PM) connects communities with Lower Mainland food producers, supporting local food businesses and making the choice to “buy local” more affordable and accessible.

There are a wide variety of foods offered, from farm fresh produce and eggs to delicious prepared foods and baked goods.

How it works

Through the virtual marketplace you’re able to choose from a variety of fresh, local produce on a weekly basis. Your order will be delivered by the farmers to The Kitchen at 54 East 3rd Ave, Vancouver, and will be ready for pick up on Thursdays.

All food is offered at cost and customers can access a “no questions asked” $10 subsidy for each order, pay the asking price, or add a donation to support the program. Community members can have their orders prepared for them in advance by ordering directly through F2PM's online ordering system, or by phone or email (see below for contact information).

Who can participate?

We all can! Community members can also add a donation to their order to support the program. Orders can be prepared in advance by ordering directly through F2PM's online ordering system, or by phone or email (see below for contact information).

This program is made possible by a partnership between Jewish Family Services (JFS), Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (LMNH), and Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC).  The JFS Kitchen receives and packages vendors’ deliveries and distributes orders weekly to three locations all year: JFS The Kitchen, Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, and Little Mountain Neighbourhood House.
