Thriving Seniors: Jewish Burial Rituals: From Death to Burial with Cathy Bregman

When a member of the Jewish community dies, the body of the deceased is cared for by a sacred society know as the “Chevra Kadisha“. This small, dedicated group of Jewish men and women is tasked with performing the “Tahara“, which includes the cleansing, washing and dressing of the body in preparation for burial.

Join us to learn how these ancient, end-of-life rituals help to put the soul at rest and create a sense of peace after death.
